county of Chicago, Joliet is experiencing a stronger police and law enforcement presence. These officials are safeguarding
their streets with a CES installed innovative integrated closed circuit television surveillance and wireless mesh network
system that will protect the lives and well-being of the residents and authorities.
WILMINGTON HIGH SCHOOL
On March 21, 2006, residents of the Wilmington School District 209-U overwhelmingly approved a $32.8 million district-wide
facilities plan. The successful referendum paved the way for the construction of a new High School for Grades 9-12.
CES was fortunate to have been selected to participate in the design build process as well as construction of this project.
CES installed the fire alarm & detection systems, access control system, main gymnasium sound system, intercom clock system
and voice data cabling infrastructure. On March 31st of 2008, the school opened to students.
PLAINFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT
Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 provides education for nearly 30,000 students in grades K through
12. Managing a district with over 30 buildings spread out over 64 square miles and growing every year can be a challenge
and the district has chosen to manage that growth utilizing many of the systems that CES has to offer.
CES has designed, installed, expanded and maintained
the majority of the telephone and voice mail systems in the district. Networking the systems together utilizing the
latest in Toshiba VOIP technology has proven beneficial financially for the district and has allowed them to maintain many
of the changes that a school district encounters year to year. CES has also installed much of the cable in the district’s
buildings and has designed and installed several of the intercom, clock, sound, fire alarm, and media retrieval systems inside
the district’s 34 buildings.
The district has chosen
to work with CES due to the reliability of the products that we offer and the outstanding service that they receive from our
technicians and staff. With centralized voice communication systems and new intercom technology, the district, paired
with CES is working to make communication between all of their locations seamless.
C.W. AVERY YMCA
CES selected the equipment and installed the following systems
on this project: structured voice, data and fiber optic cabling; voice paging system; fire alarm; telephone (including
network services); card access control; intrusion detection alarm system; closed circuit television surveillance; and audio
visual and equipment; projections and screens, making for one completely integrated system.
JOLIET AREA COMMUNITY HOSPICE
Much like the YMCA, CES also installed a completely
integrated system at Hospice including fire alarm; telephone, closed circuit television, audio visual equipment; projections
and screens and cabling.
CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY
Being the first of its kind in the Chicago region,
CES was in on a landmark venture from the ground up with installation of all infrastructure cabling at this facility. We also
keep all participants in constant communication when they are housed at the track by connecting them to the outside world.
THE PROMENADE
CES
designed, engineered, and installed and now services the entire fire alarm system for this mall which included ten buildings
networked together. Of the ten buildings, eight were multiple tenant retail buildings and the other two were the very
popular Macy’s Department Store and the Bass Pro shops.
CES worked with the local fire protection district
to make sure our design and submittals were passed the first time! During construction CES performed installations in
over fifty tenant spaces, working with several different general contractors and met all timelines in order to keep the mall
project on schedule and ready for the anxious shoppers.
